    TELUS  International Europe is happy to announce and invite you to a new initiative – Executive Breakfast series. This is not the typical business networking event, but a platform for sharing insights and innovations on hot topics in the customer care industry and not only, in the form of an interactive debate. We know that for such events having speakers from various industries is crucial, therefore we invite our partners to participate and enrich the audience with their insights and best practices.

    We held the first event on June 17th in Paris at the Canadian Cultural Institute in cooperation with our partners Zendesk and PayPal.  The speakers at the event were Mikkel Svane, Founder and CEO of Zendesk, talking about “The New Era of Customer Relationships”, Xavier Marcenac, Co-Founder and President of TELUS International Europe and myself talking about “Contact centers as strategic partners” and “5 key trends tranforming the contact center industry”, Philippe Lecerf, Sales Director for France at TELUS International Europe talking about “How a US operator managed to reach a score of 88 NPS?” and Damien Perillat, General Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at PayPal talking about the “Digital Payments Revolution.”

    With audience of the top 60 decision makers on the French customer service arena the event focused on the topic “A look ahead to the top 5 customer care trends recognized by elite North American companies.”

    We decided to talk about the major trends in our industry as we now approach the 10th anniversary of our company, TELUS International Europe and we thought that it is a good time to reflect on the future of our industry, identifying the latest industry trends that point to its transformation.

    When the outsourced contact center industry started to flourish it was all about cost cutting for companies. Now, it’s much more; it’s about how contact centers can play a vital role improving customer journeys and adding value to the overall customer experience. Outsourced contact centers are positioned for change – ready to act as strategic partners to the brands that they serve.

    We plan to be doing Executive Breakfast events on three months basis with locations all over Europe so stay tuned for the location of the next Executive Breakfast in September.
